Annual Performance Evaluation (HR)
Almost every company has one of these -- often done once a year. This is usually a pre-requisite for making any compensation changes for an employee. These can be referred by several names such as - Employee Performance Review, Performance Evaluation, Employee Annual Evaluation, Performance Review etc.
Usually HR decided the format and timing of the review process and all salaried employees are part of the process. A record of completed evaluations is retained in the employee's personnel file.
